Catherine A. Scholz is a ketamine assisted psychotherapist and a singer-songwriter. Born and raised in the Milwaukee area of the midwest of the U.S., Catherine began her musical training at age 6 with Lynne Buelo at Cross of Life Lutheran Church. She played euphonium in the Greater Milwaukee Youth Wind Ensemble and toured with this group in Europe at age 15.
She went on to study music at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy and Music Education.
At age 25 she moved to northern California and created her own private practice as a music therapist and music educator. She co-produced 2 albums of original music, Whirlwind Girl (2004) and Right Here Now (2014).
In 2021, she graduated from CIIS with a master’s in counseling psychology and expressive arts therapy. In 2023 she released two singles, “Let This Be Enough” and “Hallelujah.”
She currently lives in Nevada County, CA and is working as an associate marriage and family therapist. Contact Catherine.
